Smile Makeovers in Sunrise, FL
The smile is often a major source of confidence in our older patients, but it can also be the cause of low self-esteem. Humans naturally judge one another by our smiles, and it is common for people with misshapen, discolored, or crooked teeth to be seen as unhealthy and unattractive. While we disagree – the most beautiful smile is a healthy one! – we have noticed the toll it takes on our patients.
If you are dissatisfied with your smile and would like to change it up, we at LUV Pediatric Dentistry offer custom smile makeovers. During this treatment, we work with you to design an oral care plan that addresses your concerns, such as discoloration.
What Kind of Procedures are in a Smile Makeover?
The majority of the treatments used during a smile makeover are cosmetic. Cosmetic treatment is designed to change the appearance of the smile without affecting its function, or how well you bite and chew. When you visit us, you have a variety of options available. These include popular choices like:
- Teeth Whitening
- Dental Bonding
- Porcelain Veneers
- Filling Replacement
- Crown Replacement
- Dental Implants
Each of these treatments is performed by our expert staff and done at your pace.
How Long Does It Take?
The length of treatment for a smile makeover varies based on the type of procedures you would like. For example, if you would be content with basic teeth whitening, then your makeover would be done in one appointment. However, most patients want multiple treatments, and these can take time.
Depending on your custom care plan, treatment can take anywhere from a single week to multiple years. Our staff will discuss all of the details with you during your initial consultation so you can plan your care.
Who Can Receive Treatment?
Because a smile makeover is primarily cosmetic, we reserve this service for our older patients who already have their adult teeth. At this stage, the teeth are unlikely to shift on their own and have already settled into their permanent position. We can perform cosmetic treatments on our younger patients if they need one, such as a filling replacement.
